GMAI Fall Grads Hear from a Leading Lady in Make-up at the September 12th Cosmetology and Esthetics Graduation.

She spoke to inspired future professionals on their way out the door with words of love, joy and wisdom.

As a global master with Aveda, Leslie Munsell is not only instrumental in product development for Aveda's makeup, she has several years experience in makeup for fashion, TV, video, print and as a business person. She is also co-owner of the Aveda Concept Salon, Van Michael Miami. Her message to Graduates was to

“just be open to new ideas and great opportunities in life.”

GMAI Founder and Hair Designer at Gary Manuel Salon, Gary Howse with Armand Pacheco, Cosmetology Leader at GMAI, were honored to be chosen to be part of the prestigious “Dream Team” for Color America® with Beth Minardi in Chicago on September 24th and 25th. Color Americ® with Beth Minardi is an exclusive hair color training workshop designed to share innovation and excellence in hair color for top leading professionals in the industry. Howse, with the help of Armand Pacheco presented a segment called “Light to Dark,” which involved layering numerous shades of color to create sophisticated results. In addition Howse shared his technique for capturing the full spectrum of blonde, brunette, and red tones. Beth Minardi, one of Americas top hair colorists, color creators and educators carefully selects 15 of the world's top colorist educators to share their talents. Other ‘Dream Team members including Beth Minardi, Carmine Minardi, Gina Khan, Jo Blackwell-Preston, Christopher Capasso, Jennifer Grafton, Erick Parodi, Team Minardi and special guest Dr. David Cannell were part of the event.
